On January 4 Walla Walla was struck by a violent wind storm that left the valley crippled and damaged many homes. Wind gust of up to 80 miles per hours broke branches and uprooted many trees that devastated many homes around the area. We were lucky to see a familiar face (Jimmy) in the mist of the storm. Fortunately my family and I were one of the few to have electricity through out the storm. Here are a few first hand photos from my day as a storm chaser.
I didn't get to miss school. and it seem like the trees around the campus handled the wind just fine. However, I read that the screen for the Drive-In didn't make it. I hope they build it again.
wow! thats crazy. i didnt know there was a storm over there til i saw your blog. thanks for the link J GALAN.
