If you know anything about me, then you probably know that I love Jeeps. Not just because of my love for offroading, but because of its long history that the Jeep has. As you may have known, the jeep was created to serve the military during WWII. Essentially before the jeep, the best mode of transportation offroad was the horse which technically only provided... one horse power. Anyhow, before I bore you with interesting facts... I decided I'd post the "Jgalan's Top 5 Jeeps" for when I open my own Jeep museum. So let's start with my top patriarch jeep.
1. Willys MB - The first picture is of a 1942 WWII Jeep with a Bantam trailer. Since the American Bantam (the company who built the first concept) was in the verge of bankruptcy, they were assigned to build trailers seeing that their small company wouldn't have been able to mass produce the vehicles. Instead Willys Overland and Ford (Yes I said Ford Janelle, if your reading this) were appointed to mass produce these Jeeps. According to Fourwheeler.com, about 335,531 units were produced.
2. Jeep Cherokee - From 1974 to 1983 Jeep produce a sporty 2 door version of the Wagoneer. Although both shared the same dimensions and wheelbase, the Cherokee was targeted to younger intrepid drivers and the Wagoneer was sought for by many wealthy people because of it's luxury and space. Ultimate Road Trip vehicle?... Yeah, I would say so. Especially for tall people, they have feelings too. About 197,424 Cherokees were made.
3. Willys Pickup Truck - In 1947 Willys introduced a pickup truck to their lineup. I once heard that these trucks were sought after by many farmers for their 4wd and reliability. I'm not sure what year this pickup is, I found it on Ebay and the owner said that the mounted spare tire is the original spare. Quite impressive since trucks were used for work back in the days, unlike now in days. Production for the truck lasted until 1956.
4. Rubicon Unlimited - If I can own one Wrangler, this one will be it. This jeep was only in production from 2005-2006 until it was replaced by the well known 4 door wrangler. Unlimited is the name used for Wranglers with a longer wheelbase and Rubicon is used for jeeps that come better equipped for offroad. These jeeps are rare and will for sure be a collectors items in the future.
5. 2005 Jeep Gladiator Concept - This is the rarest Jeep on my list because there is only one. The truck has an open-air canvas roof, a fold down windshield and removable doors. It also has an expandable truck bed (similar to the Chevy Avalanche) and extra storage compartments. If you ever get a hold of this Jeep... give it to me. It would be a prize possession for the museum.

If you are still reading this... that's awesome. Make sure to memorize this list.
