Walking on Water

This past weekend Traci and I made a trip to Wallowa Lake. We had reserved a Yurt at the Wallowa Lake State Park and since no one travels in the winter, we pretty much had the whole park to ourselves. Surprisingly, the lake ended up taking most of our time since it was completely frozen. At first we were skeptical of how thick the ice was but seeing one guy ice fishing out in the lake motivated us to venture out further. It was quite exciting to reach one the buoys in the lake and take several pictures beside it. Before leaving on Sunday morning I had enough of a will to drive my Jeep on the lake, the pictures of my car are all from that moment. My mom, sister and Sarah (Traci's co-worker) joined us in this small weekend adventure.
