The more I use my Canon 50mm 1.4, the more I am convinced that carrying multiple lenses is simply ridiculous. Fortunately I only have one lens, nevertheless the more I use this lens, the more I find out how great of a lens it is. Except for taking off a speck of dust that my lens had, I didn't mess around with these pictures. I honestly think that the vignetting looks much more genuine when it comes from the lens. What do you think?
Anyway, on Saturday a group of us (Jimmy, Kevin, Drew, Darcia, Seth, Petra and her dog) went on a walk from Rooks Park to Bennington Lake. These sunny winter days are my favorite, the sun hangs over the horizon for most of the day, the sky is filled with a rich blue and it's warm enough that I can go outside yet it's cold enough that women cover themselves. It was a great day.

I really like the simplicity of the one with the silhouettes of the people and the one of an empty field.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the 50 great? =) These are nice man.
